Invited to perform on the prestigious Slee Beethoven String Quartet Cycle at the University of Buffalo, the Borealis opened their season and was the only Canadian quartet joining five others from Europe to complete the cycle: the Talich Quartet of Prague, Ysaye Quartet of Paris, Leipzig String Quartet of Leipzig, Vogler Quartet of Berlin and the Henschel Quartet of Munich.
